Happy New Year!

I’m sure many of us won’t be sorry to see the back of 2021. It has been a trying year for a lot of us. Nevertheless, as it draws to a close, we can’t help but ponder over what the year brought us. Amongst the sadness and hardships, there have also been many good times, even in Welfare.

We may have seen the most dogs needing help that we have ever seen since our beginnings, but we have also found some wonderful homes. The puppies were a bit of a shock, but they are bringing so much joy. We have started using some new kennels that are amazing. We have amazing supporters that enable us to carrying on doing the work we do. Some good friendships have been formed. Seeing the transformation in some of the dogs that have come to us, always makes what we do worthwhile, even if they will never be homed. In a way, even though it was a difficult year, 2021 made all these things happening even more special. It proved that even in adversity we can do what we are meant to be doing.

As we approach 2022, the committee would like to take this chance to wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Personally, I think this team (the committee and supporters) are a force to be reckoned with. Bring on 2022 and whatever adversities come with it. The Welfare Team are ready.

HAPPY 2022 AND THANK YOU!
